Judah drew a "pirate ship" masterpiece on the driveway recently. Here is the budding artist showing off his work:

Chewbacca

Today was Judah's first day of preschool. We had a new polo shirt picked out in honor of the occasion, but he was determined to wear his Chewbacca shirt instead. Rather than cause a scene on an already potentially stressful morning, we let him wear Chewbacca.

I'm also proud to report that Judah marched straight in the classroom this morning. No fuss, no tears, and practically no "good-bye" for Mommy. After a traumatic adjustment to his first preschool experience last fall, I could not believe how easy it was for him to walk in the room today. My big boy!

Touch-a-Truck!

Last weekend our library hosted a "Touch-a-Truck" fundraiser. The boys were thrilled to see (and touch) so many exciting vehicles. Here a few highlights:

Soccer Camp

Judah really wanted to go to soccer camp this summer, so we signed him up for a week-long program nearby. It has been super hot for the first couple days, but he's having a great time anyway.

Summer

Recently the boys have been taking advantage of the hot weather by eating a lot of popsicles.

Happy Summer!

Last Day

Today was Judah's last day of school for the summer. It has been an incredible year. After all the drama at the beginning of the year, I can't believe how much he LOVES it now!

He gave me one "nice" smile before his silly pose.

Fun Times

The boys are starting to play reasonably well together which is a beautiful thing. I wish Judah hadn't taken off his pajamas, but I think this shows how much fun they were having this morning.

The Farm

We planted a vegetable container garden in our backyard this spring. We recently visited a great local nursery called "The Farm" in search of supplies and took a couple pictures of the family.

Why We Don't Post

We know it has been ages since our last post, but our little guys just won't sit still for pictures these days. They are on the move unless they are at the kitchen table, and that is usually not the best time for cute photos. Here are a couple silly ones though.

Micah Turns 1!!!

We had quite a party this past weekend when Uncle Kirk, Aunt Betsy, Grandma, and Pop were in town for an early celebration of Micah's birthday. Karen and Kirk were doing some celebrating as well, since all three have birthdays in the span of two days. Below are some pictures of Micah enjoying his cake. Imagine That!

After a long day stuck at home yesterday, we enjoyed a great morning out with our friends today. We checked out a local children's museum called "Imagine That." Here are a few pictures from our visit.
