Fun in the Snow

We didn't get as much snow as our friends who live down in Maryland, but still plenty enough for some winter fun. Last year at this time Judah was afraid of the snow...but this year was a different story. Here are some pictures of us playing in the snow after Judah helped me shovel the front walk.

Just Micah (and a peek at Judah)

Poor Micah hardly gets his picture taken. His big brother steals all the attention! In an attempt to redirect the spotlight for a moment, here are a few cute photos of the little guy that were taken over the past month or so.

Micah eating his favorite meal of the day: breakfast! Yes, he has an orange nose. Too many carrots and sweet potatoes on the menu, I guess. Judah went through an orange-nose phase at this age too...he eventually outgrew it.

"Why are we playing outside in the freezing cold, Mommy?"

Tower of Judah

This morning Judah decided to build a giant tower out of items he found in the pantry. I wasn't thrilled by the idea at first, but I have to admit, I was impressed by his construction skills!

Micah was content to watch the construction from the sidelines.

After all that building, it was time for a granola bar break!

It's moments like these that make me so thankful to spend my days at home with my boys. I have the wonderful opportunity to see their creativity and imaginations develop first hand.

Trick or Treat

Batman Judah all dressed up and ready for his first Trick or Treating experience. He had a blast and collected lots of candy. M&Ms were the candy of choice, and he even shared some with his daddy.

Crash Landing

I think we have entered another interesting transition stage with Judah. He literally bounces off the walls with energy during his usual naptime, but then he is completely wiped out by the late afternoon. Here's what happened when we went for a 4:30 PM car ride yesterday.
